Do you ever go to your stack or shelf of books and pass over the unread ones, reaching instead for one you've read before; maybe more than once?
I finished a book yesterday and today as I searched through the handful of brand new, never read volumes, my eyes fell instead on an old favorite; a story I've read ten times if I've read it once. It's a Harlequin Romance- hard bound- that was published in 1971 called Lily of the Valley, written by Margaret Rome. I love this story because it evokes all of the feelings I want to feel when I'm reading a romance- sadness, joy, anger, frustration, elation, and above all that warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach that keeps me turning page after page again and again.
Do you have a favorite story that you return to again and again when you're not in the mood to read something new? Or are you never not in the mood to read something new?
Gosh, two posts in one day... I'm a chatter box today :o)

Danielle I do that too.
I tend to think of it as an old friend that I know will lead me where I want it.
Thanks for the comments.
